yihui's 17th bday

went shopping for yihui's birthday present on wed, w ying n mak.
then.. met alvin koh at citylink, and he walked w us to marina sq.
at the citylink, met puaylin, waved hi.
at wallet shop @ marina sq, saw junhuang and his sheep. and he told us that gigi, debbie and yihui are there as well. lol. what a coincidence lah. so after that, we were running away in case yihui saw us. and we left the plce and went to taka. haha.

anw, the birthday celeb was quite successful.
so i was walking w yihui from citylink to marina sq, and she told me abt meeting junhuang on wednesday etc etc.- all the things that i know, cause i was there also mah. hahaha. at this moment, jon, dengky, pete and tian are hiding somewhere on the 2nd floor of marina sq and rachel(fong) was in billybomberz already.

so i pretended to shop w yihui, all along sms-ing the core.
then we whined that we are hungry and i insisted on billybomberz, because.. well, we (or rather, alvin) reserved it already. so yihui o.0! when we just barge in, i took off the "reserved" sign n put it on the chair, and just squeeze into the table. then it dawned on her tt we reserved the place, hahaha. set up my very very very slow laptop, and she was watching video of karchian, pamela, debbie, michelle when the other core pop out from behind the seat, singing birthday song, with roses, choccake and the gift. (actually they appeared at the wrong moment, cause she hafnt finish the videos yet, whoops) yihui was v touched, and she teared. (:

the entire conver that night was v lame, the guys were trying to imitate my laughter, and we always end up laughing at one another. had a good time (:

yesterday, alot of us were at serangoon macs- jon,pete,dengky,michelle,krisstle,clarence,luan.

saw a grp of 5 peicai girls, and one was crying. so i was thinking of sharing Christ, and mich offered tissue, and i just whack lor. 4 of them are christians already, and one of them was v touched by this and she cried. hmm, i think seeds are planted.

hmm, pm was wonderful.

oh, preps are over.
but uh, im not like super happy or anything. i think because i didnt work really hard, whoops. and its like one down, just about two more big ones to go, and a whole lot more after those two.

but i had a super super fun afternoon at rix's house. before the drama discussion, i really enjoyed talking to rachel fong. although she like half dead, but we were talking abt a common topic, haha. then kar and dengky came along then jon, and we just talking and eating. the drama team that was supposed to be there wasnt there, so we like replaced the team.

the VICs are very funny, VICs = very important calafares.

"TO THE CANTEEN!" HAHAHAHA. the spas thg from louis made us rofl, literally. all the booboos were super funny, and thats one of the gr8est part of a drama. (:

i like to mug with Hopies, esp when we flood the entire BCC. very nice lah.
so shall go there every sunday. : D

went to gigi's fav place after serv on sat- carrefour @ ps. and we were v broke, n desperately sharing one bottle of sprite. haha.

a very long day, a very interesting day.

-skips the entire part abt school and messing up amaths/lit-

so, after school, was going to meet rachel (ton) but she went home halfway through school cause wasnt feeling well. so i went to makan with jasmine (yeay shes alive!), bernice and huishan. and its very cool lah. we missed the bus so we decided to walk. and while going down the overhead bridge towards jubilee, a old woman grabbed ber's hand and was panting. then they speak in cantonese, only jasmine can interact w her directly : / but jasmine was very pro, her eye contact and everythg. so after the ahma bought the stuff she needs w us guiding her there, she PRAYED for us- in cantonese. started with hallelujah! then smth regarding being smart and getting good results one (she laid hands on us) and ended with amen! and she was so close to tears.

woah.

so we went to makan at MOS and xin joined us after we finished eating .__. then ber went to meet sis, jasm went home, me mak n xin went to j8.
and i saw smth so so so disgusting.
on the escalator outside cartel, a guy followed the girl upstairs and took a picture of under her skirt. i cant comprehend this. can see anything meh? so at first i point at the guy and : O then huishan "EH, WHAT YOU DOING?" or smth like that. and after discussing for half a min, we gave chase. we werent really running lah, because there were two security guards behind us, AND THEY DIDNT CHASE HIM, they were merely walking (slower than us) and he got away after that. i feel so violated for the woman lah, her dressing isnt even scanty lah.

grah, stupid guards. after the whole thg then i realised i should have took a photo of him in the act and send it to STOMP! then he shall be on papers. but you see, i lag.
so we walk ard more and cant find him so wen shopping : /

went for PM after that : D pamela nearly broke my hand while praying for me. ow.
after that, theres a meeting. loads loads of laughter, so nice. and i am so touched by it. kind of reminded my of what i read in Case for Christ.

and met (spastic) qiaoling for Macs breakfast at amk macs. enjoyed the time, very long nv talk to her already. we were both supposed to do hw, but ended up.. koping songs from each others' phone/ipod.

apparently she takes business, i all along thought she does tourism n hospitality.

ha, went to school.
went to GO, told to go to class (4th floor) then to bio lab (3rd floor) to staff room (2nd floor) and back to GO. i toured the school.

in the end, sat in leather chair w aircon in GO and cracked brain over chemistry.
the office clerk was very nice (: but its still horrifying trapped in there for three hours.

after tt, met denky n louis, kar n sarah at amk, hehe.
met as in yu dao. then wen to tuition but brain was off-ed already.

anw, ytd had a church combined team rally, my first time gg and its waaayyy cool lah. adults, mandarin, fillipino, tertiary and youth tgt, even got some kids lah.
the entire nexus was filled to the brim. if only thats our service :D

they gave out some prizes to affirm people. youth got 2 : D actually i cant really rmb what the prizes were. and freedy for community service? whoops, sstm. then, we praised and pastor jeff preached and prayed.

before and after the rally, we were supposed to mug one lah, but apparently it wasnt very constructive, grah.


ohh, i shall go call the sch now, maybe can go down and get the 2 papers over n done with. and pass stuff to tian.

taking a break from SS

shall blog about sunday, hafnt been able to due to my 11pm computer curfew : /
met with dear neaone in the morning, had yoshi breakfast : D (not bad and reasonably priced) gave them BOWL! invites. yihui joined us and we all went to take neoprints.

after that, got marshmellows then went over the bishan macs and joined baorun n pammie who are mugging. the caregrp soon left for their own programmes, then dingcheun joined us. we got very distracted, pamela was trying to be a... nun? with her jacket. and sent corny messages to alot of people, quite entertaining. a few hours later, yihui tempted us and we all went shopping at... j8, abandoning ding chuen. whoops. realised theres nth to shop and went to feast ^^

ding tai fung has good food too. ahh, their wanton very nice. i wonder how many trees they cut down to build the entire restaurant. after that, went to attack banana crumble next door at swensens. walked ard more and went home.

i love my shepherd and spiritual buddy :D even though we are all in different caregrps now.

friday and saturday had been really wonderful.

on friday, there was fire drill in our school. .__.
anw aft that, me, pam, pete n jon took a random photo together.
then after that, we met w the entire AND group and took a photo tgt.
contrast the two photos and you'll see God's faithfulness in the school.

so we challenged them. grow to be able to have a Hope class photo, have unit cg right in sch(note: because sngs will have a happy cg already), just share our heartcry, and we ended with the song God is moving.
and right after that, He moved! jon was sharing to weilong's friend (rather pastorially) and the guy received Christ on the spot : D

me n pam then went to prayermeeting- the rest had cca n stuff. i was really ministered. gi was talking abt receiving the dish of salvation, serve it to someone n see his expression, and indeed, i just witnessed that expression in the afternoon, so joyous.

took the bus home with pamela, and really enjoyed the ride. the dusk sky was beautiful, exceptionally beautiful that day. somehow everyone ard was pretty oblivious to it, i was desperately trying to catch a shot of it. : /
sunsets are very short, so often neglected, but they make me smile.
such stunning sights, there must be someone behind all this, dont you think?

saturday was a very very long day.
had a breakfast session w zion dmm, and we are playing paul n barnabus till end Aug, whee!
deng very bravely caught a v disgusting cockroach.

i was dreaming after that lah, we celebrate our Os being over, celebrate that 1000 souls then celebrate good Os results : D hopefully ^^

cabbed home w pam and kar. although its a mad rush, and its uncomfortable, we know its worthy. and ten years later, we will look back and say "those were the days" : D

went to montfort campfire. apparently me n pam are the only sec fours there, and we happily sit at the VIPs, wondering why montfort put aguides beside them : /

i had a great time, because me n pam ran outside the hall halfway through (uh yah, it rained right after the VIP started the fire) and started...playing guitar. talking about guitar, rahh! last week i took home pete's guitar in my guitar bag, and now i took home my guitar in someone's guitar bag : / of course both of us cant really play lah, but we just did lah, and talked, fellowshipped (:

watched tengjen, lester n their fellow scouts band performance, it was not bad lah. after that, me n pam went to their canteen and just talk and actually pray there. heard that they were playing praise song when the campfire end lah, grah, missed it : /

after that, we, w rachel ton were like playing hide n seek, w someone lah.

before the campfire, had a great northeast training class taught by freedy and sunny.
learnt that throwing paper balls is super fun. lol. and many great solid stuff lah. especially about a heart of learning and to constantly improve oneself, that part poked me hard.

the caregroup on thurs was fun, im sure kar the birthday girl enjoyed it :D
i bought some party blowers and people really like blowing. made kar change into the clothes we got her. :D



through this holidays, (yah, omg, its ending already! im going back to jail *wails) i learnt alot.
really much more convicted about running the race, not just myself, but w a great team n my cg. learn so much about His irrevocable calling, excited about all the things in Youth. improve a little of time management, a little. touched by many responses.

been disconnected from the "outside world", has been at my dad's workplace since friday.
im not of use there, mum just wants to keep me there so to ground me in a way : /

i think that smth is very horrifying. those mascots suits, or like people dressed up as cartoon characters, like in roadshows? then these people dance n play w you, then you see them pluck off yr fav cartoon's head, and instead, you see a human. if im a kid, i would be horrified. : /

anw, went to music clinic's third anniversary celeb.
like a gathering of all the "super-s"--there's the juedui superstars, campus superstars, superband, super host and even "never say die". you name it, they have it. only lacking spore idol to complete the whole recent idol mania. but i dont watch all the shows, so couldnt really recognise those people. :/

all the music clinic students did great lah, most of them, in the performances xD
oh and music clinic just established a MCrecords, new recording company in spore. they gave each of us a single, a song self composed by the very cool keybordist and sang by 6 of their seniors there.
yay, support local talent : D

everyone was all very family there, and me,ying,ber n mak felt like outsiders. >_<
we went running around to find our way home. somehow i enjoy this very much.
like how me n xin always lose our way. heehee
